Lisvane (CAC) Tennis Club

Welcome to Lisvane Tennis Club situated just north of Lisvane and Thornhill Railway Station. Tennis has been played at the current site since 1988. 

We now have 5 all-weather, floodlit courts with the latest two courts having been built and opened in 2016, and our original three courts having just had a great new artificial clay surface installed in December 2018,  in addition to a magnificent two storey club house.  A large viewing balcony overlooks three courts and provides views across to neighbouring Parc Cefn Onn.   

Our coach is LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach & RPT Director of Tennis Qualified.  He is supported by a number qualified Coaching Assistants and Tennis Leaders. We have a comprehensive coaching programme for all ages and levels and we proudly have the largest Internal Junior Box League in Wales.

Lisvane Tennis Club fields a number of teams in local leagues, and we have plenty of social open sessions (ladies, mens and mixed) both during the day and in the evenings.  So if you are looking for a club in the local area that combines social and competitive play as well as coaching look no further than Lisvane Tennis Club.  We look forward to seeing you.

SOCIAL TENNIS TIMES

• Tuesday morning: Men 8.30 am–10.30am
• Tuesday evening: Ladies 6.00–8.30pm
• Wednesday morning: Ladies 9.30–11.30am
• Wednesday evening: Men 6pm-9pm
• First Thursday of Each Month - Evening: Mixed Social 6.35pm–9pm (please note this social is only once a month!)
• Friday afternoon: Mixed 1pm–3pm
• Sunday morning: Mixed 8.30am–11am

Directions to the club:

Navigate to Lisvane & Thornhill Railway station (on Cherry Orchard Road Cardiff ). Entrance to the club is opposite the turning to Clos Llysfaen road (by the painted mini roundabout) and signposted to the station. Immediately in front of you  is a gated entrance. Go through the gate and follow the road down to the club where there is parking, the clubhouse and courts.
